Aboriginal Voices Magazine 
From the web site, this magazine, which is issued every two months in Toronto, publishes "news and perspectives about the lives and experiences of Native Peoples in North America."  The online version contains selected articles from past issues. 

American Indian Report Magazine 
From the web site, this monthly magazine is "the leading news source for the nation’s tribal leaders and legislators, educators, business leaders and environmentalists. The only news magazine focusing on national, regional and local issues exclusively affecting American Indians and Alaska Natives, AIR covers the successes and possibilities that are often overlooked by the mainstream media."  The online site contains the Fedwatch page, which "provides continuous coverage of Congress and significant court decisions concerning sovereignty, jurisdiction and other Indian law issues." 

The Circle (Magazine) 
From the web site, this monthly magazine, published in Minneapolis, "is dedicated to presenting reports from a Native perspective to its readers, while granting an equal opportunity to community voices."  The online site contains articles from past issues. 
  
First People's Chronicle (Online Journal) 
From the web site, this monthly online journal provides "an in-depth look at today's Aboriginal people and their issues."  Published by the Virtual Circle, a web-based company. 

Indian Country Today (Newspaper) 
This is "America's largest Indian newspaper." published in Rapid City, South Dakota.  The online site includes the current week's top stories. 

Native Americas (Journal) 
From the web site, this quarterly journal "is the award-winning publication of Akwe:kon Press of the American Indian Program at Cornell University. It features articles that cover the most important and critical issues of concern to native (indigenous/aboriginal) peoples throughout the Western Hemisphere..."  The online site contains selected articles from current and back issues. 

Native Peoples Magazine 
This quarterly magazine reports on the arts, culture, and lifeways of the indigenous peoples of the Americas. 

News from Indian Country (Newspaper) 
From the web site, this twice-monthly newspaper published in Hayward, Wisconsin, "is the only national, independent Indian newpaper. We report national news, culture, gaming and entertainment news to all people interested in Indian Country."  Their online site contains selected articles from the current issue and headlines from past issues.  Also, check out their catalog of Ojibwe books and language tapes for sale. 

Oklahoma Indian Times (Newspaper) 
From the web site, this monthly newspaper published in Tulsa, "is Oklahoma's only independent newspaper that serves all of Oklahoma's federally-recognized Indian Nations."  The online site contains selected articles from the current and past issues.  Also, check out the powwow directory. 
  
Turtle Island Native Network (Online News Site) 
From the web site, Turtle Island Native Network,  is "Canada's Aboriginal news and information network on the Internet."  The site, whose editor is based in British Columbia, provides news and links of interest to Native peoples in a lively multimedia format. 
  
Windspeaker (Newspaper) 
This monthly newspaper is "Canada's national Aboriginal news source."  The online site contains "a selection of the top Aboriginal News stories published in Windspeaker. This section is regularly updated the end of every month."
